University Downs – Student Quarters’ Newest Market Breakthrough (Tuscaloosa, AL)
University Downs is an established, Class A student housing community within three-quarters of a mile of the campus at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. The property is one of few purpose-built student housing properties at UA within walking distance of campus. Because of the location and superior product, this property has been fully leased in all but one year since it was completed in 2002.
The majority of the property being purchased is the University Downs Apartments which was built in 2002. In addition, the purchase includes 45 units in University Downs Condos which are part of the same property as the apartments.
